SpEC Launch Cementitious Self-Levelling Product – SpECtop SLC
SpEC has launched a new cementitious self-levelling product, SpECtop SLC, to satisfy customer requirements. The product is a one-part self-levelling compound consisting of specially selected cements, graded sands and plasticisers.
SpECtop SLC is a very low emission floor levelling compound for producing smooth and levelled substrates for a wide range of floor finishes including mineral screeds, concrete, tiles and slabs, natural stones, terrazzo, epoxy and polyurethane.
Key advantages of this product are:
– Single component
– Can go up to 20mm thickness
– Environmentally friendly
– Good strength values
– Can be overcoated with SpEC flooring range (Epoxy, PU…)

SpEC Grants AIM Protech with a Special Award
During the seminar that SpEC held in Vietnam along with its distributor AIM Protech on the 23rd and 25th October 2012, SpEC has granted AIM an award for “Longest Serving & Best Performing Distributor in S.E. Asia for the period 1997 to 2012″. SpEC & AIM Protech worked very closely over the last 15 years in developing SpEC’s business in Vietnam. The business has grown in a variety of sectors for product applications which include: concrete repair, flooring, coatings, joint sealants, waterproofing, grouts and adhesives.
SpEC Celebrated 15 years of Presence in Vietnam
SpEC has been present in S.E. Asia for the last 15 years through the active efforts of its distributors. It is dedicated to supporting the continual professional development of its distributors and extending the knowledge and awareness of its products with the construction community in various markets in S.E. Asia. For
this purpose, SpEC & AIM Protech jointly held a seminar on 23rd of October 2012 at the Sheraton Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and on 25th of October 2012 at the Opera Hanoi. The seminar mainly focused on s
trengthening SpEC’s position as an international player after 15 years of active presence in Vietnam and on creating awareness about the SpEC product range and the various solutions offered to its clients. Top consultants, contractors, property owners and officials from various sectors attended the seminar.
SpEC holds training event for its distributor AIM Protech in Vietnam ( 7 – 9 June 2010 )
Speciality Engineering Chemicals (SpEC) recently held a 3 day product training event for its Vietnam distributor M/S AIM Protech. Participants from all over Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Hanoi attended the event. SpEC has been active in Vietnam with its distributor AIM Protech since 1998 and have developed together a significant market presence and track-record of successful usage & application of SpEC products. Both parties are keen to further develop and enhance SpEC’s presence in the Vietnamese market. The event opened with a speech by Eric Enriquez, General Manager of AIM Protech who welcomed the SpEC Team. The Sales & Marketing Manager of SpEC, Elia Kazan, discussed the importance of providing distributors with the opportunity to exchange business strategies and to learn about the latest SpEC products in a collaborative environment. John McGregor, Technical Director of SpEC emphasized the importance of product knowledge and gave a detailed presentation on product usage. After the product review and training had been concluded, AIM Protech and SpEC shared their market outlooks for 2010 and presented their general plans for marketing SpEC’s products in the coming year. SpEC will always strive to ensure that its distributors are provided with the necessary training & support to develop the business of its customers in its target markets.

SpEC Launches a New Polyurethane Car Park Decking System
